Rain doesn’t stop play for the Brent de-cafes at Kew.

Three of the Brent de-cafes had the opportunity to visit Kew last week during the annual community week, including a large group from Ashford Place.  Despite unsettled weather we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and take part in some of the planned activities on offer, including potting up our own plants to take home and nurture.  Taking shelter in the  greenhouses from the rain, we found so many amazing tropical flowers that sparked memories for many in the group.   We were also greeted by amazing scents from the tropical plants and the relaxing sound of the waterfall.  Free tea and coffee before we left topped off a fantastic day!
