CAD Brent Launch Community Choir
Thursday 8th August see’s the launch of the CAD Brent Community Choir. It’s a project we have been planning for some time and we are excited to now have a start date. We will meet each Thursday at the Church of the Ascension in The Avenue, Wembley. Evidence has shown that music is amazing for us and can help trigger the feel-good hormones, reduce stress, lower heart rate and blood pressure, making us feel happy and connected . It also aids concentration, memory and thinking and has been proven to help improve thinking speech and attention span of people living with dementia. We believe this choir will help us build a strong supportive community for people living with dementia and their families in Brent.
