DVB – Dementia Voices Brent Description

Dementia Voices Brent works as a consultation and engagement vehicle in the borough of Brent in order to raise awareness of dementia across all communities, and to ensure accessible health and welfare services.

The group meets every third Tuesday of the month at Ashford Place and is welcoming people living with dementia, their family members, and professionals. Not like any other project, Dementia Voices Brent is led by people living with the condition and only facilitated by professionals. Dementia Voices Brent was represented at Alzheimer’s Society “Dementia Friends Champions Conference” on 31^st October 2018 and is actively involved in shaping “Brent Living Well with Dementia Strategy 2018-2023”.

Dementia Voices Brent is a part of DEEP – The UK Network of Dementia Voices.
